Gratitude!

Winston Churchill famously said "we make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” Thankfully there are still true givers in our world, willing to give new life to the helpless who have no voice and are usually forgotten - the suffering animals. Such people came to the aid of TevaLand's rescued equines and literally saved the older and sick from the harsh and dangerous weather conditions.

Last season's record snow and ice storms destroyed our shed which was originally built from salvaged materials. Our beloved rescued equines desperately needed a new shelter and we feared they wouldn't survive the winter without one. However, as a nonprofit family operated Sanctuary Farm, we are barely able to make ends meet on a daily basis to support all of our animals, much less afford a new structure.

Thankfully good Samaritans- people who had never heard of TevaLand before but simply wanted to make a difference- came to the rescue. Now, having donated a new shed to house our precious family of rescued equines, they have become forever family members in the large and growing community of TevaLand supporters.

This incredible addition to the Farm was miraculously transported up the mountain in one piece just in time for the first major snow of the season. Sophie's Spirit, Lana Love, Tony the Pony, Faith, Gabriel, and Michelangelo spent their first night inside weathering the storm. They loved it so much that, when we opened the doors the next day, they didn't want to leave their safe, warm, and cozy new quarters!

Sparing no effort or expense, these amazing people made a forever difference in the lives of the horses, donkeys, and ponies who were saved by TevaLand:
